DESTINATION Wedding at Castello Monaci – PUGLIA
This wedding at Castello Monaci began with a story that started in Madrid during a tapas festival in the Lavapiés district. It was raining and the streets were full of people enjoying food and drinks outside the bars. Davide and Alejandra met near an Italian bar. Their eyes met and they immediately felt a connection. From that moment they started seeing each other and eventually decided to spend their lives together.
Elegant – Festive – Authentic
The proposal happened in a very spontaneous way during a friend’s birthday dinner. One of their closest friends asked Alejandra if she would ever want to get married. She answered that when she met Davide she already felt he was the right person. The same question was then asked to Davide, who gave the same answer. They looked at each other and asked if they wanted to get married. They both said yes and their friends applauded.
The wedding at Castello Monaci combined elegance with a joyful and folkloric atmosphere. The ceremony was celebrated by their two witnesses and became one of the most emotional moments of the day. After the ceremony the couple returned to their guests dancing the traditional pizzica. The celebration then continued with music and dancing until sunrise. As a wedding photographer, my goal was to capture the genuine emotions of the day and the vibrant energy of the celebration.
