Timeless Elegance at Masseria San Nicola

ATMOSPHERE – SOPHISTICATION – TIMELESS DESIGN

A refined, atmospheric wedding on the Adriatic coast of Puglia, between the historic Basilica di San Nicola in Bari and Masseria San Nicola, a 17th-century estate in Savelletri, near Fasano. This is Puglia at its most complete: history, sea and countryside within a short drive of each other.

Photographing Puglia the way it deserves

I work as an observer, not a director. I don’t stage moments or direct poses. I wait for real ones to happen, and I photograph them with a documentary eye paired with careful attention to light and composition. For international couples searching for a wedding photographer in Puglia who tells the truth of the day rather than performing it, this is the approach I bring to every celebration. It is a style built for longevity, not trends: images that will still mean something in twenty years.

Bari’s old town and the Adriatic coastline

Between the ceremony and the reception, we walked through Bari’s old town, where narrow lanes and white stone catch the afternoon light in a way few places do. A final stop followed on the cliffs above the Adriatic, timed to the sunset. Only then did the couple make their way south to Savelletri for the reception.

Masseria San Nicola, a private estate above the sea

Masseria San Nicola sits in Savelletri, a seaside hamlet in the municipality of Fasano, one of the most established addresses for luxury weddings in Puglia. The estate is reserved exclusively for the couple and their guests for the day. It is surrounded by centuries-old olive groves. Its pale stone catches the last light beautifully, and its indoor, outdoor and underground spaces let a celebration move naturally from one atmosphere to the next without ever leaving the property.

A reception built on real craftsmanship

The evening was designed by Puglia-based wedding planner Giulia Molinari, with florals by Greenery Lab and catering by Il Fagiano. Live music carried the celebration into the night. It is exactly the kind of setting where I work best: elegant without excess, warm without performance.

If you’re planning a destination wedding in Puglia and want a photographer who documents your day with honesty rather than staging it, get in touch. I reply personally to every enquiry, usually within a day.
