This wedding at Torre del Parco in Lecce felt like a cinematic celebration set inside a historic fortress. Maria and Oli, a couple from the UK, chose Puglia for their destination wedding because of its beauty and its connection to Maria’s childhood memories of family holidays in Italy. Their story began in London, where they met while working at the same recruitment company. A first date in a hidden cocktail bar quickly turned into a relationship that felt natural and effortless.

The proposal was simple but deeply meaningful. During a walk with their dog in the Surrey hills, Oli dropped to one knee. As he asked Maria to marry him, two white butterflies appeared and followed them down the hill. For Maria it felt like a symbolic sign connected to the memory of her parents.
